How we teach it
Many children in Chennai speak Tamil at home and still struggle to read it. We separate the two: spoken fluency is built through conversation, written fluency through the letter system. Children following the school syllabus get direct support with their prescribed text alongside.
We assess every child before we place them, so they start in the right place.
